Advanced Certificate Programs and Specializations

In addition to the MA programs, the Department of History offers non-degree advanced certificate programs and specializations for its students. These programs and specializations allow students to focus on cutting-edge themes making it easier to take relevant courses offered by departments other than that of their degree program.

These non-degree advanced certificate programs and specializations are available for enrolled students in addition to their degrees and the credit requirements can be included into the total of their degree requirements.

Some of these programs, like Religious Studies Program and Jewish Studies, also offer scholarship packages. See information below and contact the program coordinator for more information.

Prospective students who wish to participate in a specialization can indicate their interest in their application to the relevant department or even after students have already enrolled in a program, it is still possible to register for a specialization.
