David Petruccelli is assistant professor in the History Department at Dartmouth College, where he studies and teaches Modern European and International History. His book manuscript, A Scourge of Humanity: International Crime, Law, and Policing in Interwar Europe, examines the way that conceptualizations of crime and efforts to fight it were internationalized between the two world wars. He has published articles on related topics in the Journal of Contemporary HistoryContemporary European History, and Journal of World History, and edited volumes. Before coming to Dartmouth, he had a postdoctoral fellowship at the Diplomatic Academy after completing his PhD in history at Yale University.
