We are happy to report that our PhD student, Ahmet Bilaloglu will be a recipient of the Gerda Henkel Grant for completing his research in several archives and libraries in Europe. Ahmet's widespread research interests include early modern Ottoman cultural and intellectual history, Ottoman literature and historical writing and the production and dissemination of knowledge in the early modern Ottoman world. Our congratulations to him!
