For the past six years the Telluride Association has supported an international exchange program between several departments at Cornell University and Central European University. Representatives from each institution spend an academic year at the partner institution. CEU students from all departments who hold an undergraduate degree are formally eligible for the Reese Miller International Exchange Scholarship, but it is effectively aimed at advanced PhD students who have already passed their comprehensive exams. Applicants must be pursuing dissertation projects which are in some way suitable for the following Cornell departments that participate in this exchange program: History, Medieval Studies, and City and Regional Planning. An information session for potential applicants will be held on Thursday, November 28, at 5:30pm in Nador 11/203. Uku Lember (History PhD student), who spent the 2011-2012 academic year at Cornell, will make a brief presentation about his experiences and answer questions.
