History Alumna Zsófia Lóránd Publishes New Book

Zsófia Lóránd defended her doctoral dissertation at the Department of History in 2015 and was awarded a summa cum laude distinction. The dissertation also received the "Best Dissertation Award 2015" of CEU. Her research interest is the intellectual history of feminism in post-WWII state-socialist Eastern Europe and the conceptual and cultural history of violence and women's rights. Currently, she is a Research Fellow at the Lichtenberg-Kolleg of the Georg August University in Göttingen.
