CEU Early Modern Studies participates in Early Modern History Workshop at Princeton

Students and faculty from the Medieval Studies and History Departments joined fellow early modernists from King’s College London, Münster University, and Sabanci University Istanbul to discuss early modern legal history at the annual Early Modern History Workshop that took place at Princeton University this year.

Tomasz Grusiecki wins Emerging Scholars Publication Prize

 Early Modern Studies Junior Research Fellow, Tomasz Grusiecki, is one of the two winners of the 2018 Emerging Scholars Publication Prize awarded by the Historians of German, Scandinavian and Central European Art. He received this honour for his article 'Foreign as Native: Baltic Amber in Florence'. World Art 7, no. 1 (2017): 3-36.
